OUR FOUNDATION
Advancing Legal Excellence
Uniting Nigerian American legal professionals through advocacy, mentorship, leadership, and meaningful community engagement across the United States.
A Legacy of Leadership
Founded on February 3, 2015, the Nigerian American Lawyers Association (NALA) was established by visionary Nigerian American attorneys to create a strong professional network dedicated to excellence in the legal profession. Incorporated in Maryland, the Association was founded to unite licensed Nigerian American lawyers across the United States while fostering professional development, mentorship, collaboration, and meaningful community service.
Over the years, NALA has grown into a respected organization of attorneys, judges, scholars, and legal professionals who contribute across private practice, public service, corporate law, academia, and public policy. Through educational programs, legal advocacy, mentorship initiatives, and community engagement, the Association continues to strengthen both the legal profession and the communities it serves.
