Membership Benefits

  • Community: NALA provides you with a community of like-minded individuals to grow and enrich your career, while serving as a support system. Meetings (currently virtual) are held on the 3rd Saturday of every month, except July and December, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. NALA annual membership dues can be paid via Zelle at treasurer@nalausa.org.
  • Mentorship: If you are a new attorney, new to a practice area, or need guidance, our seasoned attorneys will share their professional expertise and connections, so you do not have to reinvent the wheel.
  • Bar License Transition: If you are a Nigerian lawyer who has moved to the United States and wish to acquire an American Bar license, NALA has a committee specially dedicated to helping you with your transition.
  • Continuing Legal Education: NALA offers a wealth of professional development opportunities and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) are provided to members during monthly meetings.
  • Attorney Referrals: Our network of attorneys can connect you with potential clients, resulting in lucrative referrals.
  • Gala Tickets: All NALA members are eligible for discounted Gala tickets.
